Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery to feature stores, model-training workflows, and real-time inference services.
Build and optimize workflows for extracting, storing, and retrieving semantic representations of unstructured data.
Architect and implement lightweight analytics and dashboarding solutions with natural language query experiences and AI-backed insights.
Define and execute processes for prompt engineering, orchestration flows, and model fine-tuning to support conversational interfaces.
Oversee vector data stores and develop indexing methods to support retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
Partner with data stakeholders to gather requirements for language-model initiatives and translate them into scalable solutions.
Create and maintain documentation for data processes, workflows, and model deployment routines.
Stay current with emerging methodologies in data engineering, MLOps, and LLM operations.

Requirements

5+ years of experience building scalable data or ML infrastructure.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Strong Python experience for data engineering, transformation, advanced manipulation, and large-scale processing.
Deep understanding of vector databases and RAG architectures.
Experience integrating open-source LLM frameworks into end-to-end training, customization, and inference workflows.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Machine Learning for managed LLM deployments.
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka for distributed processing and real-time ingestion.
Experience designing complex pipelines from RDBMS, JSON, API, and flat file sources.
Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills, plus BI and data warehouse methodology experience.
Experience with relational databases and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift.
Understanding of software engineering principles and experience with Unix/Linux/Windows systems and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency with version control systems and collaborative code repository workflows.
Interest in business operations and how BI systems support profitability and data-driven decision-making.
Preferred: Experience with vector databases such as DataStax AstraDB and LLM app frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
Preferred: Familiarity with Hugging Face Transformers/LLaMA-4, fine-tuning, inference optimization, MLOps tooling, and CI/CD pipelines for model deployment.
