Description

Prepare financial reports and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders.
Review individual tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
Liaise with bookkeepers to review BAS-prepared financials before tax compliance work proceeds.
Ensure work complies with Australian tax law and ATO requirements.
Identify and promptly escalate discrepancies or issues to the director.
Manage deliverables and workload autonomously while coordinating with a small team.

Requirements

Based in the Philippines.
At least 2–3 years of experience in Australian tax compliance and financial reporting.
CPA qualified or equivalent, with strong knowledge of Australian tax law.
Experience using Xero.
Familiarity with compliance requirements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders.
Strong written English and clear communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Availability overlapping with Australian business hours.
Willingness to disclose existing ongoing roles or client work.
Willingness to list the engagement on LinkedIn as an Independent Contractor.
