Description

  • Lead the full lifecycle of federal contracts from negotiation through execution and compliance review.
  • Develop and implement contract management processes, including risk assessment and mitigation approaches.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contract terms, compliance matters, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze contracts to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor junior contract staff to strengthen contract management capabilities.
  • Monitor federal regulations and policy changes and assess their impact on active contracts.
  • Prepare and present contract status and compliance reports to senior management.
  • Support alignment of contract practices with business objectives and operational needs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in federal government contract management.
  • Experience supporting IDIQ, Task Order, and Subcontract execution under large federal vehicles, preferably VA, DoD, HHS, or DHS.
  • Demonstrated expertise with FAR Part 16, FAR Part 42, and FAR Changes clauses as applied to task orders and subcontractor rights.
  • Deep working knowledge of FAR and, where applicable, DFARS.
  • Experience with IDIQ task order environments and traditional federal set-aside contracting, including WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), and SDVOSB.
  • Clear understanding of how primes and subcontractors operate differently within prime/sub structures.
  • Direct experience working for or advising prime contractors and subcontractors on awarded task order execution.
  • Experience resolving prime/subcontractor performance, scope, and execution conflicts.
  • Strong understanding of how credentialing, onboarding, and security clearance timelines affect healthcare and professional services contracts.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, including the ability to draft contractual position statements and executive-level communications.
  • Experience advising small businesses and federal subcontractors on prime positioning.
  • Ability to provide practical, actionable guidance on FAR regulations within large multi-year and multi-billion dollar contracts.
