Description

  • Design and develop deliverables for new MES implementations and changes to existing MES applications.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand, coordinate, and execute feature backlog items.
  • Translate business and technical needs into tangible application solutions.
  • Provide technical support to factories and internal business partners for assigned MES applications.
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and remediate MES application issues.
  • Maintain user reference materials and related documentation.
  • Contribute to MES application strategy, including evaluation of new technology.
  • Promote process improvement through projects, enhancements, and support issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with factory personnel and cross-functional internal partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an associated field preferred.
  • Experience working on highly collaborative, large cross-functional projects.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and solving problems in legacy applications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of modern software development principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team environment, preferably SAFe.
  • Experience with Java, C++, C#, .NET Framework, HTML, JSP/CSS, Tomcat, IIS, JavaScript, Swing, ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or Entity Framework, DB2, SQL Server, Angular 5, Power Apps, and Azure DevOps.
  • Factory floor understanding.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability and willingness to learn related areas such as testing, database work, deployment, documentation, and project management.
