Description

  • Serve as the primary hands-on technical resource for Manhattan Active Transportation Management (MATM).
  • Review, create, update, test, and troubleshoot MATM system configurations.
  • Configure MATM to support transportation planning, execution, tendering, rating, routing, tracking, and related processes.
  • Evaluate business requirements and determine whether they should be solved through configuration, integration, extension, or process change.
  • Define and maintain technical integration designs between MATM and internal or external systems.
  • Review API payloads, messages, field mappings, transformation rules, and interface designs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across MATM, integrations, data, and connected enterprise systems.
  • Support solution design, testing, implementation, deployment, and post-production verification of MATM changes.
  • Provide advanced production support, root-cause analysis, and permanent corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Maintain configuration, integration, and support documentation, including diagrams, inventories, and runbooks.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Manhattan Active Transportation Management (MATM).
  • Ability to navigate MATM administration and make application configuration changes.
  • Experience troubleshooting MATM configuration, processing, data, and integration issues.
  • Strong understanding of transportation management processes, including planning, shipment and load creation, routing, tendering, rating, shipment tracking, and freight settlement.
  • Experience designing and supporting integrations between a TMS and internal enterprise systems.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, web services, event-driven integrations, message queues, or middleware platforms.
  • Ability to review technical interface specifications, payloads, field mappings, and data transformations.
  • Experience using logs, monitoring tools, application data, and error messages to troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and communicate clearly with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Preferred: experience with multiple MATM functional areas, Manhattan Active APIs, extension capabilities, and release processes.
  • Preferred: experience integrating MATM with ERP, OMS, WMS, carrier, visibility, freight-audit, or data-platform solutions.
  • Preferred: working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts.
  • Preferred: familiarity with application monitoring, log-analysis, API-testing tools, source control, deployment processes, automated testing, or CI/CD practices.
  • Preferred: experience in transportation, logistics, distribution, or supply-chain technology.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require visa sponsorship.
