Description

  • Work in a C++ codebase on a custom engine or Unreal Engine 5.
  • Maintain and develop gameplay features and the tools that support them.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on feature development.
  • Debug, profile, and optimize code on a regular basis.
  • Contribute as a generalist engineer across game development needs.
  • Help bring top-tier games to realization through direct technical ownership.

Requirements

  • Proven senior-level experience as a software engineer working in C++ and Unreal Engine 5.
  • Recent experience working in the video game industry.
  • Experience working effectively in a team environment.
  • B2-level English proficiency, both conversational and written.
  • Ability to work remotely from Europe or the UK within EU time zones.
  • Player or development experience with strategy games is a plus.
  • Willingness to complete a technical test as part of the application process.
  • Full-time availability for contractor or employment work, depending on the engagement.
