Description

  • Conduct interviews with key players across the value chain, including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, associations, and government contacts.
  • Research and network to establish industry contacts and secure relevant interviews.
  • Review and collect information from secondary sources.
  • Visit retail stores to gather product information and speak with staff.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data, including hypothesis testing.
  • Prepare reports in MS Word and PowerPoint in English.
  • Work remotely with project managers to deliver required project outputs within each assignment.
  • Be available for a minimum of 30 hours per week when actively engaged on a project.

Requirements

  • Business background, ideally with experience in the FMCG or consumer services sectors.
  • Experience working on a short-term contract basis or in a freelance capacity.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to find strong industry contacts.
  • High level of numeracy with the ability to work with, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Fluency in English and the local language.
  • Tenacity, attention to detail, excellent time management, organization, and self-motivation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Availability of at least 30 hours per week when actively engaged on a project.
