Description

  • Design, develop, optimize, and administer SAP IQ database environments.
  • Support enterprise database and data integration solutions across operational environments.
  • Develop and maintain ETL workflows using SAP Data Services.
  • Implement logical data models, schemas, and data validation processes.
  • Work with multiple operating systems and file formats in database and integration tasks.
  • Write, analyze, and optimize complex SQL queries, including long-running queries.
  • Use JDBC to establish connections, run SQL queries, manage result sets, and handle transactions securely.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, training, and knowledge transfer to DBAs, developers, analysts, and end users.
  • Develop and enforce technical standards, operational procedures, governance practices, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to meet evolving business and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with eligibility for a government clearance.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise database environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the design, implementation, enhancement, and operational support of complex SAP IQ and other database and data integration solutions.
  • Experience using SAP Data Services to develop and maintain ETL workflows.
  • Working knowledge of SAP IQ developer tools and Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).
  • Experience developing and implementing logical data models, schemas, and data validation processes.
  • Experience working with Linux (RHEL) and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience reading from and writing to fixed-width, delimited, XML, and text-based file formats.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages and scripting tools such as C/C++, Java, Python, Perl, and shell scripting.
  • Strong experience with JDBC, including database connections, SQL queries, result sets, transactions, and end-user troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in writing, analyzing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, including rewriting long-running queries.
  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentoring, training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Experience developing and enforcing technical standards, operational procedures, governance practices, and documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging technical teams, management, and business stakeholders.
