Description

Conduct research on college admissions and high school extracurricular opportunities for each family’s request.
Present personalized findings in a clear and comprehensive format.
Analyze information from multiple sources to create well thought-out advice for high school families.
Collaborate with the Research Manager, Empowerly families, and counselors to deliver thorough findings.
Update shared team spreadsheets with each request to maintain an up-to-date collaborative resource.

Requirements

Familiarity with the U.S. education and college admissions system.
Excellent command of the English language.
Ability to work independently in a virtual environment and self-supervise quality within 72-hour deadlines.
Willingness to spend approximately 0.5 to 2.0 hours researching each family’s request.
Strong command of G-Suite, or willingness to learn it to meet client expectations.
Willingness to be responsive via email and Slack.
Ability to think adaptively and identify alternative opportunities when needed.
