Description

  • Lead discovery through delivery for assigned product areas and hand off finalized UX and functional designs for UI polish.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering early to define problems, inform requirements, and guide engineering decisions with evidence.
  • Own multiple complex design workstreams and adapt priorities as business needs evolve.
  • Establish research and usability-testing practices and translate findings into actionable product decisions.
  • Identify and reduce design debt and downstream friction from features released without design review.
  • Create rapid, testable prototypes with AI tools to validate concepts and unblock product decisions.
  • Design intuitive interaction flows and account for complex edge cases.
  • Share knowledge, mentor peers, and improve design-team processes and culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product or UX design experience with ownership of complex products and a portfolio of shipped work.
  • Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools.
  • Experience working independently in ambiguous, fast-moving, engineering-heavy environments.
  • Strong interaction design and systems-thinking skills, including the ability to simplify complex flows and edge cases.
  • Experience building or contributing to research practices with limited formal resources.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience designing zero-to-one products, new platforms, or new product areas.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Figma Make, Claude, or similar to create prototypes and validate concepts.
  • Experience in privacy, compliance, or another highly regulated or technical domain (strongly preferred).
