Description

  • Assess AI and technology capabilities, risks, and improvement opportunities for potential investments.
  • Lead AI assessment engagements and produce reports outlining technical investment risks.
  • Identify improvements to existing AI technologies, organizations, processes, and development tools.
  • Design and implement technology solutions, including Agile methodology transformations.
  • Manage projects independently after initial apprenticeship, including collaboration, project management, and delivery.
  • Participate in hands-on implementation projects using applicable processes and technologies.
  • Collaborate with client and internal technical leads and team members.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers and engineers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, machine learning, or analytical and generative AI, preferably in senior technical or consulting roles.
  • Expert-level knowledge of data science, including data mining, statistics, and machine learning.
  • Current knowledge of commercial and open-source LLMs and the broader generative AI landscape.
  • Experience with data asset evaluation, model selection, training, fine-tuning, efficacy metrics, and bias management.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property considerations, MLOps tooling, and AI-enabled software engineering.
  • Understanding of cloud hosting, self-hosting, and related AI economics.
  • Experience with multimodal AI across text, NLP/voice, images, or video.
  • Ability to evaluate and apply AI across technical, operational, and investment contexts.
  • Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, analytics, data science, machine learning, or AI.
  • Self-directed, action-oriented collaborator willing to learn unfamiliar areas and work effectively remotely and in person.
