Description

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Assist with month-end close and maintain accurate client books.
Prepare schedules and support financial statements and management reporting.
Review transactions, identify discrepancies, and investigate items requiring attention.
Support year-end compilations, audits, reviews, and tax-related work.
Maintain organized, up-to-date client records.
Communicate with the team and progressively support clients with accounting questions.
Help improve accounting processes, systems, and workflows.
Contribute to ad hoc accounting and finance projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or current enrollment in a relevant degree program.
2–3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
Understanding of basic accounting principles.
Comfort working with numbers, spreadsheets, and accounting systems.
Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.
Written and verbal English communication skills.
Curiosity, willingness to ask questions, and eagerness to learn.
Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero (preferred).
Experience in public accounting, audit, tax, SaaS, technology, fintech, or Web3 (preferred).
Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9am–5pm EST.
