Description

  • Teach students across all sections of standardized tests, including math, reading, English, and science.
  • Simplify and deconstruct ACT and SAT content for students.
  • Develop learning plans that build foundational knowledge and study skills.
  • Support students in reaching academic goals such as class performance, test scores, and college readiness.
  • Use creative, innovative teaching methods to engage students and encourage learning.
  • Provide positive reinforcement to build students' confidence, self-esteem, and life skills.
  • Adapt instruction to students of different ages, talents, and backgrounds.
  • Contribute to a results-driven team focused on student outcomes.

Requirements

  • In-depth teaching experience with the ACT and SAT.
  • Ability to teach all sections of a standardized test, including math, reading, English, and science.
  • Excellent GPA and test scores, ideally in the 98th to 99th percentile.
  • Strong math and quantitative skills.
  • Strong reading and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • Creative, driven, energetic, patient, and dedicated approach to teaching.
  • Ability to conceptualize and explain concepts clearly, with demonstrated success stories.
  • Ability to create learning plans covering foundational elements and study skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S.
