Description

  • Design, build, and maintain end-to-end web applications using Python/Django and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Lead migrations from legacy systems such as Zoho, Delphi, and FoxPro to modern web architectures.
  • Use AI coding assistants and modern development tools to design, test, and ship software.
  • Design RESTful APIs and optimize SQL queries across MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • Mentor developers through pair programming, design reviews, and code quality practices.
  • Automate build and deployment pipelines using Git, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Jira.
  • Support production stability, test coverage, and rapid incident resolution.
  • Collaborate directly with client teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering full-stack web solutions.
  • Deep experience with Python/Django, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a modern framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Advanced SQL expertise with MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience designing RESTful APIs and migrating legacy systems to modern cloud environments.
  • Experience with Git, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jira, Azure, and Docker.
  • Proven ability to take end-to-end ownership of software outcomes and solve problems proactively.
  • Strong collaboration and technical communication skills with business users and distributed teams.
  • Fluent written and spoken English for working with North American teams.
