Description

  • Develop Banner integrations using best practices and tools such as Workflow, Automic, and shell scripting.
  • Perform programming, analysis, and testing using Banner Studio.
  • Participate in Banner/Ellucian module implementations and SaaS migrations.
  • Handle patching, cloning, and installation of base Banner applications.
  • Provide technical support for the Banner software suite.
  • Manage Banner system administration and monitoring.
  • Oversee system backups, updates, and releases.
  • Train end users on Banner-related processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to evaluate current processes and design future-state solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working with Banner at higher education institutions.
  • Experience with all Banner modules.
  • Preferred experience with Java, Groovy, GIT, Banner SSB 9, Ellucian Experience, Banner Extensibility, and Page Builder.
  • Experience developing Admin Page applications using Java EE and Morphis is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Ellucian products such as Degree Works, BDM, Workflow, ESM, CPoS, EIS, Recruit, and Advise is a plus.
  • Experience with third-party application integration and data integration tools such as Boomi, Axiom, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or Informatica is a plus.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and API integrations is a plus.
  • Experience with Self-Service / Ellucian Experience.
  • Experience installing SSL certificates, application patches, and database patches.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Unidata, and Oracle relational databases as needed.
  • Experience with data migrations (ETL).
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Experience with Banner SaaS migrations.
