Description

  • Execute comprehensive test cases to validate data pipelines and reporting structures.
  • Identify and document data discrepancies and defects with accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Query and analyze complex data sets to verify processing against business logic and specifications.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on data anomalies and quality issues.
  • Maintain and improve QA documentation, standard operating procedures, and testing frameworks.
  • Promote and enforce information security best practices, including password security and malware protection.
  • Identify, assess, and report information security risks affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Ensure data storage, processing, and transmission practices comply with privacy and protection standards.
  • Integrate data protection measures throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a dedicated software or data quality assurance environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working with data structures and a foundational understanding of relational databases and data manipulation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to conduct root-cause analysis on data anomalies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Foundational knowledge of SQL or exposure to cloud-based data warehouses such as Google BigQuery (preferred).
  • Familiarity with enterprise data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau (preferred).
  • Basic exposure to Python scripting or the ability to read and interpret code (preferred).
  • Experience with accurate defect tracking and reporting.
  • Must be based in LATAM/Mexico for this contract role.
