Description

  • Build scalable, secure, and user-centric AI-powered products from the ground up.
  • Develop and maintain front-end interfaces for responsive, dynamic applications.
  • Connect front-end applications with robust back-end systems powered by AI models.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and solution leads to translate business needs into end-to-end solutions.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure strong usability and performance.
  • Integrate data pipelines and AI logic into customer-facing applications.
  • Write production-level code and help define processes and best practices for future team growth.
  • Take ownership of projects from conception through customer-ready production deployment.
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to improved testing, debugging, and code quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building scalable web applications.
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with backend development using FastAPI and Python, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with frontend development using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, or similar technologies.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with data ingestion pipelines.
  • Proven ability to deliver production-ready software for enterprise use.
  • Advanced written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience in a consulting or agency environment on project-based work (preferred).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or Skaffold.
  • Experience deploying on a major cloud provider, preferably Azure.
  • Proficiency with AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and MCPs.
  • Willingness to collaborate on improving software development best practices.
  • Must meet all listed requirements, including local legal and compliance requirements in Portugal.
