Description

  • Advise Retail & CPG clients on e-commerce, digital customer experience, personalization, customer data, and technology transformation.
  • Translate business requirements into solution concepts, capability roadmaps, and target architectures.
  • Lead discovery sessions and solution-design workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Advise on integrations across commerce platforms, CDPs, marketing technologies, PIM, OMS, and other commerce systems.
  • Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and shape consulting engagements.
  • Build relationships with senior client decision-makers, including CDOs, CMOs, CIOs, and Heads of E-commerce.
  • Develop reusable consulting assets such as reference architectures, solution frameworks, demonstrations, and go-to-market offerings.
  • Track DACH retail trends, marketplace dynamics, emerging technologies, and customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with regional and global technology teams to grow the Retail & CPG practice.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry conferences, and networking events.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant e-commerce or digital commerce experience, ideally in Retail & CPG.
  • Background in IT consulting, digital transformation, systems integration, technology services, or digital commerce consulting.
  • Technical-functional understanding of e-commerce platforms, system integrations, data flows, and customer-facing digital solutions.
  • Experience gathering client requirements, leading workshops, and developing solution recommendations.
  • Familiarity with pre-sales processes and collaborating with sales teams.
  • Understanding of the DACH retail and CPG market, including marketplace dynamics, digital commerce trends, major retailers, and GDPR requirements.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Professional fluency in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–40% across the region.
  • Experience with commerce ecosystem technologies such as commercetools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, CDPs, marketing platforms, PIM, OMS, APIs, or composable commerce.
  • Experience in technical pre-sales, proposal development, RFPs, solution shaping, or consulting-offering development (preferred).
