Description

  • Advise clients on the research and analysis of investment ideas across public and private markets.
  • Develop investment research frameworks and methodologies for evaluating opportunities.
  • Design manager due diligence frameworks and standardized assessment criteria.
  • Build financial modeling templates and portfolio allocation tools for client teams.
  • Create research documentation standards, templates, and presentation materials.
  • Develop performance monitoring, benchmarking, and attribution analysis systems.
  • Train investment teams on research best practices, analytical techniques, and data sources.
  • Build research infrastructure and knowledge management systems.
  • Support special projects such as research process assessments, technology evaluations, and methodology enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CFA designation.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Accounting, Financial, Mathematical, or Quantitative Analysis is a plus.
  • CFP or another industry designation is a plus.
  • 8+ years of specific research experience.
  • 5-8 years of investment experience preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and tools such as Morningstar Direct, Microsoft Office, FactSet, Bloomberg, and BlackRock Aladdin.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation-style communication.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, and handle ambiguity.
