Description

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs in C#/.NET that power the platform's core business logic.
  • Implement and maintain the service layer for asset tracking, facility navigation, and event detection features.
  • Integrate with third-party positioning and telemetry providers and their APIs.
  • Define and evolve API contracts in collaboration with the frontend team.
  • Write automated tests and participate in code review to keep the codebase maintainable.
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of backend services in production.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET for backend service development.
  • Experience integrating with third-party APIs and webhooks.
  • Comfortable working with real-time or near-real-time data processing requirements.
  • Experience with a major cloud platform, with Azure preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a small, cross-functional, fast-moving team.
  • Portugal-based remote availability.
  • Full-time availability with at least 4 mandatory overlapping working hours.
  • Freelance / service agreement engagement.
  • Estimated project duration of 19 weeks.

Benefits

  • Remote work in Portugal.
  • Hourly rate of 31€–33€.
  • Full-time schedule of 8 hours per day.
  • Mandatory availability for at least 4 hours during the workday.
  • Freelance / Service Agreement arrangement.
