Description

  • Architect and deploy the initial Cameyo by Google infrastructure to deliver Windows applications as secure web apps.
  • Provision, configure, and stand up Google Cloud Workstations for secure development environments.
  • Work with software engineering teams to define baseline images and package containerized IDEs.
  • Design the GCP compute architecture to balance performance and cost efficiency.
  • Establish auto-scaling policies, custom container lifecycles, and power-on-demand features.
  • Implement Zero Trust Network Access principles for remote access.
  • Set endpoint security baselines, session isolation, and data loss prevention policies using tools such as Chrome Enterprise Premium.
  • Migrate legacy software into modern browser environments using Cameyo fully hosted or self-hosted models.
  • Lead the organization’s migration away from legacy VDI platforms such as Citrix and VMware.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver core infrastructure and migration projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2 years focused on Cloud VDI, Virtual App Delivery, or Cloud Workspaces.
  • Strong understanding of Cameyo by Google and Google Cloud Workstations.
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform and the Google Workspace Admin Console.
  • Strong understanding of Docker and container architecture.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and RDS CAL / Session Host licensing management.
  • Experience with Google Identity / Workspace, Okta, or Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience with Zero Trust principles and ZTNA.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for cloud provisioning.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for workspace automation.
  • Experience moving organizations away from VPN-based access toward browser-based, clientless access.
  • Experience managing enterprise rollouts and working with security and networking teams.
  • Potential to extend or convert after the 6-month contract.
