Description

  • Communicate project status and recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Use AI coding tools to scaffold Capacitor plugin interfaces, boilerplate UI, and test suites.
  • Review, correct, and validate AI-generated code across TypeScript, Kotlin, and Swift.
  • Architect and build the native bridge between a JavaScript WebView and native hardware.
  • Develop Android background services and manage complex BLE connections, including GAP, GATT, and MTU negotiations.
  • Design TypeScript Capacitor interfaces with a cross-platform path for later iOS implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver the mobile experience.
  • Stay current on trends in React Native, TypeScript, Expo, and mobile development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with web-to-native frameworks such as Ionic or Capacitor.
  • 3+ years of native Android experience with Kotlin or Java.
  • Experience with Android background services, thread management, and Android 12+ permission models.
  • Deep expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy, including GATT, GAP, auto-reconnection, and MTU negotiation.
  • Hands-on experience using AI code assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude.
  • Proven ability to build custom native plugins and expose them through modern plugin APIs, preferably Capacitor.
  • Strong understanding of mobile app performance optimization.
  • Experience debugging complex web-to-native hardware bridges and writing maintainable code.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • English proficiency.
  • Familiarity with iOS native development using Swift and CoreBluetooth.
  • Experience with local databases such as SQLite or Realm and offline-first mobile app strategies.
