We are seeking a talented WordPress designer and developer to design custom websites and support our development team in building the sites, as well as provide support to existing WordPress maintenance clients through our sister company, Cinch Web Services. Primary responsibilities would be to work with our content strategy team to design websites from provided grayscale wireframes, and to then work with our developer to build the sites. Another primary responsibility would be to answer incoming support chats from existing clients, troubleshoot and solve their issues. Additionally, hours could be spent completing content data on websites, or working with our digital marketing team on other projects.
We work solely with WordPress, and all our site designs are custom themes (we don’t start with pre-existing design themes). We do use the page builder Beaver Builder, as well as Gutenberg, Advanced Custom Fields and WooCommerce. Quality work is very important to us, we don’t just pump out sites, but take the time for thoughtful content strategy, design and development practices. We service a diverse range of clients in a variety of industries, and have jobs both large and small in scope.
A set amount of hours per week would be dedicated to providing our Cinch clients with WordPress support requests. We get a wide range of development and content related questions, and you would be responsible for troubleshooting and responding. Good communication skills are a must.
This is a contract position with steady hours in the range of 25 – 40 per week. Pay is dependent on experience, and variable rates may apply. Work could be done remotely or in-house, or a combination. We are flexible in regard to your work schedule.
