Indie Campers is seeking a talented developer who wants to board our "rocket van" and help it drive as fast as possible.
We need great people that have a relentless focus in growth both professionally as developers but also focusing in the business impact of what they do. Developers with business minds.
As a company that grew from 3 vans in Lisbon to 1000+ vans in 50 locations from Iceland to Croatia in a couple of years individual growth opportunities are available but only for those who can move as fast as us.
Responsibilities:
- Help guide our overall strategy through discussion and focused implementation.
- Participate in the discussion of our technology architecture and implementation.
- Report directly to our Lead Engineer.
- Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.
- Partner closely with our product and design teams to maximise the value of what is delivered.
- Commit to constant learning and improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
- Solid understanding of relational databases.
- Solid understanding of web applications architecture and all of it's layers.
- Ruby is a must-have (PHP, Python or Node.js will also be considered).
- Solid understanding of software testing.
- Experienced working with ruby or clojure.
- Good communication skills.
- Organised and self-sufficient.
NICE TO HAVE
2+ years of product development work is a plus.
